Latest on the the New Clubhouse

You’ll have noticed the window and door apertures are boarded up to secure the building in advance of the arrival of doors, windows and other fittings.  From now on we expect to see rapid progress with, hopefully, the builder finishing shortly after the end of the month ready for volunteers from the members to take over to do the decorating and landscaping.

New 20/21 Season’s Subscriptions

With tennis, singles and doubles, now permitted on booked courts at the club, there’s no reason now to hold off renewing your subscription.  Up marginally from last year, there’ll be a big improvement in facilities at the club once the clubhouse is finally completed. Although we won’t be removing anyone from our mailing list until later in the season, if you want to start playing again, you need to renew your subscription now.

Unless your contact details have changed, there is no need to fill in a membership form, just send Karen an email with your name, the amount and any bank references. Read on for how to pay and how much…

Field Repairs

Wednesday 3 June

Two tons of topsoil arrived at 9:30 and a number of volunteers were on hand to barrow it to the damaged areas and continue the good work that had begun a month ago.  This was a different material from last time but, as well as repairing the parts which were not done last time, it was used to improve and stabilise  the existing repairs which have already shown good growth of grass.  Many thanks to all of the helpers.
