October – Panels had to be adjusted to fit – more time consuming than expected but M&M are meeting the challenge…

7 October – Roof and walls nearly complete…

November– Walls complete and roof watertight.  Waiting for roof trims and gutters in correct colour. After delays due to some building inspection issues the concrete base was pumped in and work is well advanced on the internal partitions…

12 February – Little progress during December and January for a number of reasons including atrocious weather including Storm Ciara.  Back on site on 11 & 12 Feb with help from Mike and Jim when the remaining grey roof trims were fitted and rubbish was removed from the site in preparation for delivery of the screed material the following Monday.

20 February – Screed delivery delayed due to 3rd parties. Roof, guttering and gable now complete.

13 March – Following some voluntary work from members earlier in the month shifting concrete blocks onto the site and moving rubbish down to the car park, it was a good turnout from members when the first delivery arrived for the screed materials.

18 March – The following Wednesday, Mark screeded the floors of the kitchen, toilets and hall with some help from Richard and Mike.

April – With the Coronavirus lockdown in progress, Dave Smith installed the two consumer units and connected them to the main supply.

3 June – With builders merchants once again open to small builders following relaxations of the lockdown, the floor screeding was completed and by the end of the following week, after a delayed timber delivery, the internal roof structure was well under way.
