If you haven't already got one, a player ratings may be requested when you sign up to join British Tennis. It should be used when playing in any of the NCL Singles League matches or LTA ratings tournaments.

A list of club members who are British Tennis members is in the Members' Area. Ratings are also shown for those who have requested them. The information below shows what is expected from a player with a particular rating. If you are not happy with your rating, you may get it changed by sending in a ratings form with your details on it (see below).
Click here for a summary of the LTA Ratings levels. It also provides conversion from the International Tennis Number (ITN) to the GB ratings scheme.
The following link gives more details of what is expected from a player in terms of stroke production and court craft in order to achieve a particular ITN rating.

If you are a member of British Tennis, click here for a ratings form that you can fill in to update your rating if you didn't fill in a form when you joined. Print it out and send it to the address on the form. If you can scan the completed form into your computer, click here to email it to the LTA Competition Services.

If your name is missing from the British Tennis Members list, please contact the administrator. If you are a British Tennis Member but are registered in another county, please contact the administrator with your old county and BT membership number.
