Berkshire
Over-45 Veterans League
We also have two teams in the Mens' Veterans (Over-45)
League. Matches are 4 rubbers of two tie-break
sets with a deciding tie-break if necessary. Veterans'
matches normally take place midweek evenings with
the occasional match on a Sunday morning. Crowthorne's
Mens' Vets play their home matches Wednesday evenings
at 6:45; away matches are at 6:15 unless specified
otherwise on the fixtures list. If you get to
be 45 any time this year, you are eligible to
play; contact Jim Hawes or Paul Gardner if you
want to be considered for the vets teams.
The A team came 6th out of 8 in division 1 and
will remain in that division. The B team came
2nd in division 2 but, with extra teams joining
the league, the 2 divisions have been split into
3 smaller ones which means the B's stay in division
2.
