Crowthorne Tennis Club - Junior Matches and Tournaments

SUMMER 2011

This year we had just two teams entered, 18&U Boys in DIvision 2 and 14&U Boys in DIvision 2B. 18&U Boys came second, losing only to winners Latika and 14&U Boys also came second in their division, narrowly edging out Peppard into 3rd place.

Junior Summer League matches take place on Sunday mornings at 10:00am or Saturday afternoons at 1:30pm. Teams of two play 2 singles and 1 doubles rubbers with a champions tie-break instead of a 3rd set if 1 set all..

ANNUAL TOURNAMENT

The was no Junior Annual Tournament in 2011.

WINTER 2011/12

This year the rules have been changed and the 16&U and 18&U Leagues have been merged. We have to nominate 7 players for each team and the teams are now 4 players. Because of these changes we have been unable to enter a team for 14&U but have entered a 15-18&U team. They are in Box B. Our Junior Manager will be looking to organise some 'friendly' matches for 14&U Boys.

Junior Winter League matches take place on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Teams of four play 4 singles and 2 doubles rubbers with a champions tie-break instead of a 3rd set if 1 set all.
